Thanksgiving Wishes to the Business Partners Who Inspire Us

Thanksgiving is practically here, and you can feel its presence. There’s a fresh chill in the air that creeps in on late afternoons. The darkness falls earlier, followed by the aroma of logs smoking within cozy hearths. The clerks at the market are frantically stocking the shelves. Then there are the elaborate plans drawn up to coordinate the efforts of recipe gathering, shopping, cooking, accommodating guests, laying out tables, and setting up for the big game. Yet the spirit of this season springs from a profound sense of gratitude. We at Crowdstaffing believe that relationships form the cornerstone of our success. We wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals without the unflappable support of our cherished partners. And so I would like to take a special moment to thank you all.

The Season of Gratitude

I have so many things to be thankful for at Crowdstaffing: the folks behind the scenes who make us tick, our clients, MSP partners, recruiters and hard-working talent. For me, one of the most inspiring aspects of this company reaches far beyond the promise of business opportunity – it’s that we have created an enterprise that feels more like a family. It’s a sincere honor to work alongside so many wonderful, bright, committed, diverse, and passionate individuals. Together we share, learn, evolve, innovate, and put our hearts into building an incredible community.

None of this would be possible in the absence of meaningful relationships. The bonds we forge allow us to make a rewarding living as members of this vibrant industry. And that’s part of the concept behind Crowdstaffing – that on a more philosophical level, we are all linked by our dedication to the goals of reinventing the future of talent acquisition -- and that our strength rises from our collective contributions in this thriving crowd.

The Midas Mistake: Success Is Measured in Relationships, Not Gold

Milton Glaser is one of the most celebrated graphic designers in U.S. history. Over the past five decades he’s exerted a powerful influence on the nature of design by exhibiting how deep conceptual thinking can be revealed viscerally through the richness and diversity of visual language. Beyond that, Glaser is lauded as a sort of philosopher whose work in evoking meaning from abstract communications has led to a greater understanding of how people interact. In that regard, business leaders have long cited his wisdom, particularly: “You can only work for people that you like.” When you do, Glaser’s experience has taught him, you can accomplish anything because you’re surrounded by colleagues who are equally committed to the project.

“I just found the distinction between work that was done professionally – which meant that somebody gave you a job and you had to match their expectation – and work that was done collectively, was profound...Only groups that really work together with the sense of commonality ultimately accomplish anything in civilization,” Glaser told Inc. Magazine.

Our own experience in supporting contingent workforce programs has informed the same opinion. We are beyond fortunate to have formed warm, meaningful relationships with phenomenal individuals whose attitudes, grace, energy, and dedication to collaboration have produced untold benefits for our shared workforce ecosystem. In our view, Glaser’s observations of professional friendships and unity are beyond dispute. Every interaction we share with our business partners is an immense pleasure.

Inspiration and Motivation

The lexicon of the business world is full of words such as “drive,” “leadership” and “influence.” However, we believe the most purposeful word is “inspiration.” When our colleagues truly inspire us by example, they motivate us to succeed. They instill in us a sense of mission, belonging, relevance and respect.

When clients and colleagues come to us filled with passion, vision, inspiration, and a strong desire to listen, they motivate us to succeed – to surpass goals, not just meet expectations. We strive to produce because we’re encouraged to contribute. These attitudes also foster a real feeling of camaraderie and a longing for the success of our clients, our peers, and ourselves.

Cherished Partnerships, Not Service Agreements

The bond our client and MSP partners have developed with us reaches far beyond the signature on a master services agreement. They welcome our calls, they invest themselves in understanding us, and they draw out our energy and dedication. We are partners, deeply vested in the mutual success and outcomes of the programs we support together.

Not only do these engaged professionals help us find opportunities, they inspire us to become better business partners. Their integrity, advice, recognition, and constructive feedback assist us in capitalizing on ongoing performance enhancements. Their open approach to communication paves the way for meeting existing and anticipated expectations, future innovations, compliance issues, procedural improvements, and absolute alignment. Their guidance compels us to drive our performance to new levels each day, and find an increasingly superior quality of candidate.

By virtue of their friendship, acceptance, trust, and devotion, these outstanding contingent workforce leaders are attracting the best breed of supplier, which fuels the demonstrative achievements of their programs. We’re doing work with people we like and who like us; and through this sense of commonality and purpose, we can ultimately accomplish anything.

On behalf of everyone at Crowdstaffing, I have the privilege of thanking you for showing consistent confidence in our services. You are truly valuable allies and friends to our company. It has always been a sheer pleasure to support your programs, your missions, and your aspirations. We can’t wait to show you the exponential advances we’re pioneering to make 2018 even more incredible. I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving!
