Staffing Industry Leader Scott Giroux Joins Crowdstaffing as Operations Chief

We are thrilled to announce that staffing industry veteran Scott Giroux has joined Crowdstaffing as Vice President of Operations. With Scott taking the reins of operations, the company is expanding its leadership team and enhancing its delivery model, which has disrupted the industry through a crowd-based, networked approach to talent acquisition. A long-time innovator with extensive leadership experience, Scott most recently captained the Volt Workforce Solutions executive team responsible for leading North American staffing solutions. In his new role, Scott will direct Crowdstaffing’s global operations and account management teams while driving the growth of the Talent Supplier hiring marketplace.

The staffing industry stands at a pivotal point. The emergence of the gig economy and the rapid evolution of digital marketplaces are creating new challenges and new opportunities for hiring organizations, recruiters, and candidates alike. In the United States alone, 33% of jobs remain unfilled for three months or more. To fill these roles, the average enterprise enlists 30 different staffing agencies, uses 10 different technology solutions, and reviews 250 resumes per open role. Yet 63% of corporate recruiters say the shortage of skilled talent shortage remains their biggest challenge. Scott’s dedication to conquering these challenges brought him to our company.

“Crowdstaffing is leading the industry with an innovative approach to not only evolve as the market does but bring together a high-quality talent ecosystem that combines the best of technology with what recruiters do best - find qualified talent,” he said. ”I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to expanding the company's network of high-quality talent suppliers.”

Scott comes to Crowdstaffing after an esteemed career with Volt Workforce Solutions. There he continuously embraced new responsibilities and gained extensive leadership experience managing major vendor relationships, contract negotiations, national account implementations, while driving sales and recruitment efforts for the company.

“With 20 years in the staffing industry, Scott has seen firsthand the evolution of our market. The old ways of matching candidates and employers are no longer relevant as technology plays a disruptive yet critical role to improving the hiring process,” said Sunil Bagai, CEO of Crowdstaffing. “Scott’s experience and reputation can’t be matched, and his enthusiasm for helping talent suppliers be successful will drive amazing hiring outcomes for our clients today and long into the future.”

Scott’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires by Crowdstaffing to realize its vision of a comprehensive hiring marketplace and technology platform. By bringing hiring organizations, talent suppliers, and candidates together into one connected talent ecosystem, Crowdstaffing is helping its customers make more precise connections, gain richer insights, and make hires faster.
